With increasing occurrences of risks, insurance brokers are faced with increased pressures to find answers quickly in an underwriting market that is sometimes hesitant to cover a wider variety of insurance risks. Brokers need clear, actionable guidance on the most effective solutions available as quickly as possible.

Miramar had already established a history and reputation in property, liability and engineering risks. Established as a boutique in 2005, it was acquired by Steadfast in 2013 and has evolved from a local, independent agency.

Miramar, meaning to look to the sea, has a unique story to tell. Seeing beyond the horizon, they take a fresh approach in servicing their broker clients. They think differently to deliver better, offering the best possible solutions for the unique needs of brokers.

But how best to communicate their intent, vision and purpose of swift and innovative solutions? A refreshed brand strategy and external brand presentation was required to engage the market, communicate intent and inspire internal audiences.

With an overarching business strategic vision set, the challenge for Miramar was translating this into a contemporary and sophisticated brand presentation that drove cut through in a competitive environment.

Miramar needed to define a compelling brand that reflected the business’ vision and injected inspiration for the internal team.

Our approach included extensive internal engagement, collaborative creative development, logo and visual identity development, guidelines and asset development.

A renewed and ambitious intent

The refreshed Miramar brand officially launched at the Steadfast Conference 2022. With a new market positioning and customer value proposition, Miramar is able to signal to the market its renewed and ambitious intent, using the new brand positioning to direct brand activities and build brand equity.

Deployed across the Miramar website, social media channels and marketing collateral, the dynamic new logo and visual expression system creates sharp differentiation for the organisation in a crowded and competitive market.
