The methodology

Since 2012, the Vero SME Insurance Index has engaged with 14,500 business owners and decision-makers across Australia.

Approximately 1,500 owners and decision-makers are surveyed each year.

The approach

AN ONLINE NATIONAL QUANTITATIVE SURVEY

Business owners are sent a succinct 15-minute survey that includes screening and questions on broker usage and insurance attitudes as well as general business concerns.

IN-DEPTH QUALITATIVE INTERVIEWS

A selection of the SME business owners are interviewed and filmed. These videos are showcased to help bring the findings to life.

Vero is focused on building relationships and truly partnering with insurance brokers by giving them a better understanding of SMEs and their attitudes towards commercial insurance.
